    Visit DMV-area national parks for free this weekend

    National parks are waiving fees on Sunday to celebrate the Great American Outdoors Act .

    Why it matters: We live within driving distance of some great parks — this weekend you can hit a bunch up for free without paying for a pass.

    Participating parks in Virginia and Maryland include:
