It's the house that hummus bought: Cava co-founder Ted Xenohristos recently snagged a $8.6 million home in Northwest, the buyer's agent confirms to Axios.

The big picture: This comes as the DMV-based company continues its soaring expansion: It went public last year and was valued at over $10 billion by market cap earlier this summer, Bloomberg reported.

Plus: Xenohristos and Cava co-founder Brett Schulman recently sold $45 million of company stock, the Washington Business Journal reported.

Zoom in: Xenohristos closed on the newly built house in July. It comes with seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 9,894 square feet, per the listing.

    • It also has two kitchens, an elevator, four fireplaces, wine storage, a sauna, an exercise room and a carriage house.
