Alpine IQ, a Broomfield-based software company, was Colorado's fastest-growing private business between 2020 and 2023, according to the recently released 2024 Inc. 5000 list .

Zoom in: Over the past three years, Alpine IQ's revenue growth skyrocketed by a staggering 16,469% — making it the 10th fastest-growing private company nationwide.

    • The business, founded in 2019, focuses on products that manage customer data and sync consumer experiences across both in-store and online platforms, driving its rapid expansion.

The Luxe Room , a Denver-based medical spa and laser clinic specializing in cosmetic injectable treatments, is the second local business to break into the top 100, landing at No. 54.

    • With additional locations in Boulder and Fort Collins, the company saw just over 5000% revenue growth over the three-year period — the metric Inc. magazine used to rank businesses.

The big picture: Colorado is home to 131 companies on this year's prestigious Inc. 5000 list, with 104 in the Denver metro area — reinforcing the region's reputation as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

    • The top three industries with the fastest-growing companies were business products and services (16 companies), software (15) and advertising and marketing (13).
    • Collectively, the companies added nearly 14,700 jobs and achieved a median growth rate of 221% over the past three years.

Flashback: Inc.'s list last year included 133 Colorado companies.

    • The top was Crusoe Energy , a Denver-based business that uses leftover natural gas to power cryptocurrency mining and cloud computing.
    • The second was Denver-based Blazy Susan , which makes accessories for cannabis consumption.
