    This weekend, watch some of the world's best golfers, get all the barbecue you can eat or celebrate Japanese culture at a new three-day event.


    1. ⛳️ BMW Championship

    Watch Denver native Wyndham Clark and 49 of the world's top golfers compete for $20 million in the BMW Championship at Castle Pines Golf Club .

    Why it matters: It's the first PGA Tour event Colorado has hosted in a decade.

    Zoom in: Olympic gold medalist Scottie Scheffler leads the betting odds to win, but Clark, ranked fifth on the tour, might have an altitude-based edge .

    What to expect: Test your putting skills near the 11th green and grab bites from local restaurants including Dos Gringos, the Simply Pizza Truck, Farm to Truck and Tom's Coffee.

    If you go: The course can be a challenge to walk, so wear comfortable shoes.

    4. 🌽 Colorado Cornhole Classic

    • This three-day festival makes its debut in the Ballpark District on 21st Street. There will be four tournaments , live music and local food and drink vendors. 3–11pm Friday, 10am–11pm Saturday, 10am–7pm Sunday. Free

    5. 🇯🇵 Spirit of Japan

    • Japanese food and spirits will be abundant at this new three-day festival at Sakura Square . Admission includes tickets for food, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. 5–10pm Friday, noon–10pm Saturday, noon–4pm Sunday. Tickets start at $60

    7. 🍺 Lakewood Brewery Collective
