Previewing the Detroit Lions matchup with the Arizona Cardinals

The Lions travel to Arizona this weekend for a get-right game against the Cardinals and their dynamic quarterback, Kyler Murray.

    • Kickoff is Sunday at 4:25pm on Fox 2.

📋 Scouting the opposition: Not much was expected of the Cardinals (1-1) when the season began. But their 41-10 walloping of the Rams last weekend put the league on notice that Arizona might be better than expected.

    • Rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. had a breakout game with four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

👀 Player to watch: Defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson is coming off an incredible 4.5-sack performance in last week's loss to Tampa Bay.

    • Hutchinson will have to stay in his rushing lanes and not over-pursue Murray to prevent the speedy quarterback from escaping the pocket for big plays.

🗣️ Quote of the week: "Targets come my way, that's great. If not, it's all good," Lions tight end Sam LaPorta told the Detroit News , explaining his mindset with only six catches so far this season.

🔮 Joe's prediction: This is a dangerous road game, but I don't see Detroit losing two straight.

    • Lions win, 31-20.
