10 concerts to catch in Houston this fall

Houston is in for a musically packed fall.

Why it matters: While we may not have the mega tours like last year, there are plenty of concerts to look forward to.

    • This month alone, we've already had Mitski, Twenty One Pilots and Imagine Dragons. And since it'll soon be semi-tolerable outside, an outdoor concert sounds appealing, too.

Here are 10 shows to look forward to — or at least know about, so you can sound cool even if you don't go:

🎸 Creed , 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven are coming together for the Summer of '99 tour at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Sept. 14.

    • Lawn seating resale starts at $125 because '90s nostalgia doesn't come cheap.

    • Resale general admissions are upward of $170.

🍊 Glass Animals will stop by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Sept. 21 as part of their Tour of Earth.

    • The British indie band's lawn seats are $30.

    • Lawn prices are $35.

🍬 Sabrina Carpenter , fresh off her VMAs win for Best Song of the Year with "Espresso," brings her Short n' Sweet tour to the Toyota Center on Oct. 27.

The intrigue: That's not all. Kehlani , Benson Boone , Saint Levant , Usher , Mariah Carey, Meghan Trainor , Becky G and Jelly Roll all have fall shows lined up.

The bottom line: There's something for everyone.
