We all scream for ice cream, but is your love as deep as the sprinkle pool at the Museum of Ice Cream?

Here's the scoop: The world-renowned interactive museum brand is returning to Miami on Sept. 6 to open its permanent location at the Miami Worldcenter downtown.

    • Get ready for unlimited ice cream, carnival games and a mysterious "multi-sensory tasting experience" that will let you "taste" the flavors of the beach.

Catch up quick: The Museum of Ice Cream — with locations in four other cities , including New York and Singapore, and a Boston museum opening soon — operated as a pop-up in South Beach until leaving in 2018.

    • In six months, about 200,000 people visited the museum, co-founder and co-CEO Manish Vora tells Axios.
    • "People were going to that site for years after just thinking that it was a permanent museum," Vora says.

The latest: The new location spans 14,000 square feet over two floors and includes immersive exhibits, a cafe bar with ice cream-themed cocktails and new flavors from local creamery Azucar and Cosmic Bliss.

    • It promises to be "the creamiest, most colorful and tastiest museum yet," co-founder and co-CEO Maryellis Bunn said in a statement.

What to expect: When you walk past the pink doors of the museum, Vora says he wants your worries to melt away.

    • "You come to the Museum of Ice Cream to tap into that inner child."

Highlights include: The "Cream Liner," a 1960s-inspired luxury airplane; "A Grand Hall of Freezers" full of mysterious treats and surprises; and a double-helix slide into the famed sprinkle pool, designed as an homage to the Versace Mansion in South Beach.

    • The museum partnered with "sensory scientists" at International Flavors and Fragrances to "create a multi sensory tasting experience that takes you on a journey through the flavors of the tropical city."
    • "It's an experience like what it would be tasting an ice cream version of the beach," Vora tells Axios.
    • The whole museum can take as little as 90 minutes to as much as three hours to explore, he says.

    Pro tip: Come hungry.

If you go: Tickets start at $24 and go on sale today.

    • Miami Worldcenter, 851 NE First Ave. Unit #134.
