A pair of rock shows in Nashville this week will double as fundraisers for voter registration drives at other concerts and music festivals.

What's happening: My Morning Jacket is playing back-to-back shows Wednesday and Thursday at Ascend Amphitheater with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats.

    • Both shows will be available to stream online. Tickets to access the streams will benefit the nonpartisan civic organization HeadCount , which has registered voters at Bonnaroo and shows for stars like Ariana Grande and Beyoncé.
    • Fans who attend the shows in-person will get the chance to register while they're there.

By the numbers: HeadCount says it has registered more than 1 million voters at live events since 2004.

If you go: Both shows start streaming live from Nashville at 7:30pm. Streaming tickets start at $19.99.
