Following an historic national debate between former President Trump and Vice President Harris, people recognize the general election on Nov. 5 is getting ever closer — it's just 54 days away. Why it matters: Voter turnout for general elections is typically higher than in primaries, but only about 54% of Arkansans registered to vote went to the polls in 2020 . Voting in every election is the best way to make sure your voice is heard on issues you care about.
