    Philly goes car-free near Rittenhouse Square again

    Center City's premier business district is going car-free again this weekend.

    Driving the news: Seven blocks near Rittenhouse Square will be temporarily closed to cars so pedestrians can walk freely from 10am-5pm on Sunday:


    • 18th Street from Locust to Chestnut streets
    • Walnut Street from 15th to 19th streets.

    What to expect: Sunday's agenda includes:

    🎵 Live music: 10am-4:30pm

    🎪 Circus Arts performances : 11am-1pm

    🤸‍♀️ Fitness class : Noon-12:30pm and 1-1:30pm

    🛼 Great on Skates : 2-3pm

    🪕 Mummers Fralinger String Band : 3-4pm

    🎲 Plus: Bring the kiddos to a family-friendly zone, where you'll find sidewalk chalk and games.

    What's next: More car-free street closures on Sept. 22 and 29.
