Curbside service from Waymo at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is now available anytime.

State of play: Waymo announced Tuesday morning that its driverless, autonomous cars now offer 24/7 curbside pickups and drop-offs at Terminals 3 and 4.

    • In December 2022, the company began providing service to Sky Harbor's PHX Sky Train stations, making it the world's first airport to offer fully autonomous rides from Waymo.
    • The company launched curbside service last December between 10pm and 6am, and began a phased rollout of the 24/7 service in June.

What they're saying: Brad Gillette, Waymo's Phoenix market lead, called the 24/7 airport service "another groundbreaking milestone for Waymo One," in a statement

    • "Sky Harbor and Waymo continue to innovate to provide you with great travel options," Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a video posted on X .

Catch up quick: Waymo expanded its service area in May to cover 315 square miles in the Valley.

Editor's note: This story has been corrected to reflect that Waymo launched its curbside service last December between 10pm and 6am (not 6pm).
