Bingo Beer Co . in Scott's Addition wants to make lunch cool again, co-owner Jay Bayer tells Axios.

Why it matters: They rolled out a lunch buffet — a peak gluttonous indulgence in the 1980s and '90s — to make it happen.

State of play: Richmond's only brewery/restaurant/arcade hybrid launched the buffet in mid-July, promising a quick, tasty and all-around fun weekday all-you-can-eat.

What they're saying: "All my Shoney's and Pizza Hut nostalgia fantasy dreams [are] coming true," Bayer says.

Zoom in: Pizza, salad, subs, garlic knots and wings are on the menu and regularly replenished throughout the afternoon.

    • The spread is out Tuesday through Friday, noon-3pm. $15 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and under gets you access.

Plus, to double down on the fun, everyone get a free $5 game card with a buffet purchase.

Editor's note: This story was updated to note that everyone gets a free game card with a buffet purchase, not just kids under age 12.
