A Trump graffiti war has taken over this scenic mountain byway in Utah

Guardsman Pass — the high-altitude byway famous for its sweeping vistas at atop the Wasatch Mountains — has become a forum for less-than-elevated political discourse.

State of play: The concrete barriers guarding the steep switchbacks above Wasatch Mountain State Park now display a colloquy of pro- and anti-Trump graffiti.

Context: Here's the road we're talking about.

The latest: From Bonanza Flat down Pine Creek Canyon in Wasatch County, passers-by can see messages like this:

The intrigue: Guardsman Pass is where GOP-dominated Wasatch County meets deep blue Summit County and Democrat-leaning Salt Lake County.

The bottom line: Fittingly, the graffiti message that's closest to the convergence point leaves its agenda open to interpretation.
