Seattle's T-Mobile Park named one of the most vegan-friendly baseball stadiums

Seattle's T-Mobile Park is one of the country's most vegan-friendly baseball stadiums, according to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Why it matters: Gone are the days when non-carnivores had to subsist mainly on peanuts and beer during games.

Driving the news: PETA released its 2024 rankings of the most vegan-friendly stadiums in Major League Baseball on Wednesday.

    • T-Mobile Park was one of 11 ballparks to make the list, out of 30 stadiums that are home to MLB teams.

What they're saying: "T-Mobile Park has the standard vegan hamburgers and sausage that we love but also offers fun alternatives like an acai bowl, tofu tots, and even a Vegetable & Mushroom Bun from Din Tai Fung," PETA writes.

    • "Before the end of the game, be sure to swing by the Salt & Straw stand for a scoop of Vegan Strawberry & Coconut Water Sherbet."

The bottom line: You don't need to eat meat and dairy to pig out at the ballpark — at least, not in Seattle.
