Casa Cami review: Enjoy the food and the view at The Current Hotel's rooftop restaurant

πŸ‘‹ Hey, Yacob here. My girlfriend, Maya, and I recently tried The Current Hotel's new rooftop concept, Casa Cami.

The spot: It offers Mexican cuisine and unbeatable views of the bay. Casa Cami is owned by the sibling duo behind the Oxford Exchange, Predalina and The Library: Blake Casper and Allison Casper Adams.

    • It opened on March 19.

State of plate: I snagged a reservation with ease; an indoor seat that allowed us an air-conditioned sight of the water.

Best bites: Our server welcomed us with chips and guacamole, and we tacked on tuna tostada ($23) to start. Grab a napkin. The dish is as messy as it is tasty.

    • Then, we moved on to an order of the barbacoa short rib fajita β€” tender, savory and wet ($38), and carne asada tacos β€” chewy, cheesy ($20).
    • We ended with cinnamon-coated churros on a bed of ice cream and dark chocolate ($12).

The verdict: Your taste buds, eyes and Instagram feed all win at Casa Cami.
