Coroner identifies 20-year-old Aynor man killed in crash

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 20-year-old Aynor man died Sunday morning after his SUV hit a utility pole and tree, authorities said.

Jared Marlowe died when his 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer went off the road near Nichols Highway, the Horry County Coroner’s Office said. It happened just after 4:30 a.m. about 4 miles outside of Aynor.

Marlowe was the only person in the vehicle. Horry County Fire Rescue responded, along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
