Here's an early game-by-game win-loss prediction for the Wildcats for their 2024 schedule, beginning with Arizona's game against New Mexico on Aug. 31 and concluding with its game against Arizona State on Nov. 30.
The Wildcats will play at Kansas State, BYU, Utah, TCU and UCF this season. They will host NAU, Colorado, Texas Tech, Houston and West Virginia.

Aug. 31: New Mexico at Arizona
The Lobos went 4-8 last season and hired Bronco Mendenhall to be their new coach. Mendenhall is a great coach, but Arizona has a big talent advantage. The Wildcats are a 30.5-point favorite, according to odds from BetMGM Sportsbook .

Sept. 7: NAU at Arizona
The Wildcats beat the Lumberjacks last season, 38-3. We don't think the result this season will be all that different.

Sept. 13: Arizona at Kansas State
This game is against a conference foe, but it is a non-conference game that was scheduled before Arizona joined the Big 12. Arizona could lose this game, but it won't hurt its conference standing.

Sept. 28: Arizona at Utah
Arizona's first Big 12 Conference game couldn’t be much more difficult, having to take on former Pac-12 South rival Utah in Salt Lake City. The Utes are many people's favorites to win the conference.

Oct. 5: Texas Tech at Arizona
The Red Raiders could be tough in 2024, but the Wildcats will be pumped up for their Big 12 Conference home opener.

Oct. 12: Arizona at BYU
BYU had a tough first season in the Big 12, going 5-7 overall. The Cougars are tough in Provo, but the Wildcats will get their first Big 12 Conference road win in this game.

Oct. 19: Colorado at Arizona
Arizona beat Colorado in Boulder last season, 34-31, but now these teams get to face off in Tucson as Big 12 rivals. We expect a similar result.

Oct. 26: West Virginia at Arizona
The Mountaineers could be very tough this season after a 9-4 finish in 2023. We think they'll overcome the lengthy road trip to knock off the Wildcats.

Nov. 2: Arizona at UCF
Arizona gets its longest road trip of the season, traveling to UCF. UCF has Arkansas transfer KJ Jefferson at QB, but we think the Wildcats will get back to their winning ways.

Nov. 15: Houston at Arizona
Houston has a new coach in Willie Fritz after a tough 4-8 season in 2023. The Wildcats will be too tough for the Cougars.

Nov. 23: Arizona at TCU
TCU disappointed in 2023 and is looking to bounce back in 2024, but the Horned Frogs won't be able to slow the Wildcats' offense in this game.

You can throw out the records in this game. You never know what is going to happen. That being said, the Sun Devils won't be able to keep up with the Wildcats in Tucson.
