4 family members confirmed dead in Tempe mobile home fire; mother in critical condition

Authorities have identified four people killed in a mobile home fire on Sunday evening near Seventh Avenue and Baseline Road in Tempe.

Sgt. Ryan Cook, a Tempe Police Department spokesperson, identified the following people:

• 18-month-old Ellany Ruiz.
• 3-year-old Ariaelly Ruiz.
• 24-year-old Enrique Ruiz.
• 51-year-old Monica Ruiz.

A woman who is the mother of Ariaelly and Ellany Ruiz remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Cook said Monica is Enrique's mother and that Enrique was the father of Ariaelly and Ellany Ruiz.

Cook said Tempe fire officials were still investigating the cause of the fire.

Additional details were not immediately available as of Tuesday afternoon.
