Phoenix police seek answers after finding a man shot to death under an overpass

A man was found shot to death Friday morning under a west Phoenix overpass, according to Phoenix police.

At approximately 6:18 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a male stabbing victim found beneath the West Indian School Road overpass on the West Grand Avenue pedestrian path, according to Phoenix police. The victim, later identified as 54-year-old Paul Myron, had suffered gunshot wounds, police said.

The homicide investigation is ongoing, with no eyewitnesses and limited video surveillance in the area, according to police.
