Huge indoor slide park is coming to metro Phoenix. Here's where and when

Slick City Action Park, an indoor slide and games park, opened its first of five planned Arizona locations in Peoria in June . Now a second Slick City park is coming to metro Phoenix.

Slick City Action Park confirmed to ABC15 that the new location will open "within the next few weeks" near Ray Road and Interstate 10 in Chandler.

"We are so excited to be a part of the Chandler business community. We are Arizona natives, friends since grade school, and our three families have raised our children here in the Valley," the ownership group of Wade Stooks, Kevin Hazel and Chuck Walton told ABC15 .

"We understand the need for a family-oriented entertainment center where you can bring children of all ages. We believe that Slick City is just this sort of place... we love that we are able to provide a safe but exciting destination for families of Chandler and the surrounding communities to enjoy.”

The new Slick City Action Park is expected to open in October at 845 N. 54th St., Chandler. No specific date has been announced.

What is Slick City Action Park?

Slick City Action Park is part indoor slide park, part party space and part indoor sport play area. Patrons of all ages can race each other down giant slides in the Fast Lane, play basketball or dodgeball, drop into the swirling bowl of the Royal Flush slide, go flying from the Mega Launch and more.

Kids age 4 and older can ride all the slides to their heart's content while younger kids enjoy the Junior Jungle play area.

Slick City also offers adult-only nights and team bonding experiences.

Slick City Chandler tickets

Slick City Action park has three ticket tiers based on age and how long you wish to play. CitySocks are required for all visitors and cost $4.99 per pair.

• Junior Ticket: Starts at $13.99 and includes access to the Junior Jungle area for kids age 3 and younger who are under 45 inches tall.
• 90 Minute Action Ticket: $25.99 and includes access to all slides and attractions for age 4 and older with no height requirement.
• 120 Minute Action Ticket: $30.99 and includes access to all slides and attractions for age 4 and older with no height requirement.
