The Phoenix Suns are scheduled to hold training camp Oct. 1-4, tentatively set for 10 a.m. to noon each day at the team's Verizon 5G Performance Center practice facility.

The practices are not open to the public, but fans won't have to wait long to see the team in action. The Suns play their first of five preseason games Oct. 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. They played the Lakers there last season as well.

Four of Phoenix's first five preseason games are in a eight-day span with three on the road. The Suns play Oct. 8 against Detroit at Michigan State University, Oct. 11, again versus the Pistons at Footprint Center, and Oct. 13 at Denver.

The Suns conclude preseason action Oct. 17 against the Lakers at home.

Phoenix is having its media day Monday at Footprint Center beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The Suns open the 2024-25 regular season Oct. 23 on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers at the new $2 million Intuit Dome.

Phoenix is coming off a 49-33 season in 2023-24 that ended with a first-round playoff exit against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a sweep.
