One division in the NFL has proven to be the best after the season's first six weeks. And it's not even close.

NFC North teams are a combined 17-5 on the season entering the NFL Week 7 schedule .

The Minnesota Vikings are 5-0. The Detroit Lions are 4-1. The Chicago Bears are 4-2. The Green Bay Packers are 4-2.

The next best division in the league? The AFC West is 13-9. Only one other division has a winning record, with the NFC East at 12-11.

As for other divisions, the NFC South and AFC North are both 11-13. The AFC South is 10-13.

The worst divisions in the NFL? The NFC West is 9-14, while the AFC East is 8-13 and will be 9-14 barring a tie after Monday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets tonight .

    30. Jacksonville Jaguars (29)

Last week: Lost to Chicago Bears, 35-16

This week: Sunday vs New England Patriots (in London)

It's safe to say that Sunday is a must-win for the Jaguars. They face the Packers, Eagles, Vikings, Lions and Texans after the game against Jacksonville.

    29. Tennessee Titans (30)

Last week: Lost to Indianapolis Colts, 20-17

This week: Sunday vs Buffalo Bills

This Titans team might be decent with a QB. They have allowed 110 points on the season, but have only 96 points from their offense.

    28. Cleveland Browns (28)

Last week: Lost to Philadelphia Eagles, 20-16

This week: Sunday vs Cincinnati Bengals

The Browns didn't get into the end zone on Sunday on offense. They have just two offensive touchdowns in their last three games.

    27. Miami Dolphins (27)

    Last week: Off week

This week: Sunday vs Indianapolis Colts

The Dolphins had a week off to prepare for the Colts and that game really could make or break their season.

    26. Los Angeles Rams (26)

    Last week: Off week

This week: Sunday vs Las Vegas Raiders

For as bad as Los Angeles has looked, it has some winnable games on the schedule ahead, with the Seahawks, Dolphins and Patriots among upcoming opponents.

    25. Las Vegas Raiders (24)

Last week: Lost to Pittsburgh Steelers, 32-13

    24. Arizona Cardinals (22)

Last week: Lost to Green Bay Packers, 34-13

This week: Monday Night Football vs Los Angeles Chargers (Oct. 21)

The Arizona Cardinals fell back to earth after their upset win over the 49ers. They haven't won back-to-back games since 2021. James Conner only gaining 24 yards on seven rush attempts didn't help.

    23. New Orleans Saints (20)

Last week: Lost to Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 51-27

This week: Thursday Night Football vs Denver Broncos

The Saints have dropped four straight after starting the season 2-0. Spencer Rattler went 22-for-40 for 243 yards with one touchdown pass and two passes intercepted in his first NFL start.

    19. Dallas Cowboys (15)

Is Mike McCarthy's job in jeopardy? The Cowboys were absolutely embarrassed by the Lions. They had five turnovers in the game (two passes intercepted, three lost fumbles).

    18. Seattle Seahawks (11)

Last week: Lost to San Francisco 49ers, 36-24

This week: Sunday vs Atlanta Falcons

The Seahawks have lost three straight since starting the season 3-0, and the losing streak might grow with the Falcons and Bills up next.

    17. Denver Broncos (17)

Last week: Lost to Los Angeles Chargers, 23-16

This week: Thursday Night Football vs New Orleans Saints

Bo Nix and the Broncos scored 16 points in the fourth quarter Sunday. The problem was, they were down 23-0 before the quarter started.

How's this for dominating time of possession? The Chargers had the ball for 37:23 on Sunday. The Broncos had it for 22:37.

    14. Chicago Bears (16)

Last week: Beat Jacksonville Jaguars, 35-16

    This week: Off week

The Bears have won three straight games after a 1-2 start and Caleb Williams is starting to shine. He's 130-for-199 for 1,317 yards and nine touchdowns (with five passes intercepted) on the season.

    13. San Francisco 49ers (13)

Last week: Beat Seattle Seahawks, 36-24

This week: Sunday vs Kansas City Chiefs

San Francisco moved into a tie with Seattle with its win on Thursday Night Football and now has a Super Bowl rematch on tap against the Chiefs with this game at Levi's Stadium.

    12. Philadelphia Eagles (12)

Last week: Beat Cleveland Browns, 20-16

This week: Sunday vs New York Giants

Welcome back, A.J. Brown. The wide receiver had six catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in his return from injury for the Eagles.

    11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (14)

A very interesting game for Baker Mayfield, who went 24-for-36 for 325 yards and four touchdowns, with three passes intercepted, against the Saints.

NFL MVP odds: Patrick Mahomes, C.J. Stroud, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen favorites

    10. Atlanta Falcons (10)

Last week: Beat Carolina Panthers, 38-20

This week: Sunday vs Seattle Seahawks

The Falcons have won three straight games. They rushed for 198 yards against the Panthers with Bijan Robinson finding the end zone twice.

    9. Green Bay Packers (9)

Last week: Beat Arizona Cardinals, 34-13

This week: Sunday vs Houston Texans

Jordan Love threw for four touchdowns, but you have to give credit to Green Bay's defense, which only allowed Arizona to rush for 89 yards.

    8. Pittsburgh Steelers (8)

Last week: Beat Las Vegas Raiders, 32-13

This week: Sunday Night Football vs New York Jets

Pretty hard to beat the Steelers when Najee Harris rushes for 106 yards on 14 carries with a touchdown and Justin Fields adds two rushing scores of his own.

    7. Buffalo Bills (7)

Last week: Monday Night Football vs New York Jets (Oct. 14)

This week: Sunday vs Tennessee Titans

    6. Washington Commanders (5)

What changed? NFL power rankings Week 6

    5. Houston Texans (6)

Last week: Beat New England Patriots, 41-21

This week: Sunday vs Green Bay Packers

The Texans are just a much better team with Joe Mixon on the field. The running back had 13 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown Sunday. He also had a touchdown reception.

    4. Baltimore Ravens (4)

Last week: Beat Washington Commanders, 30-23

This week: Monday Night Football vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Oct. 21)

The Lamar Jackson-Derrick Henry combo is producing for Baltimore, which has won four straight. Henry has 119 carries for 704 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

    3. Detroit Lions (3)

Last week: Beat Dallas Cowboys, 47-9

This week: Sunday vs Minnesota Vikings

Jared Goff was 18-for-25 for 315 yards with three touchdown passes Sunday, continuing his stellar play for Detroit, which has a huge game against Minnesota in NFL Week 7.

    2. Minnesota Vikings (2)

    Last week: Off week

This week: Sunday vs Detroit Lions

Are the Vikings for real? They have already defeated the 49ers, Texans, Packers and Jets this season. A win over the Lions this week would make them 6-0.

    1. Kansas City Chiefs (1)

    Last week: Off week

This week: Sunday vs San Francisco 49ers

The Chiefs had a week off to prepare for the Super Bowl rematch against the 49ers. Better have some popcorn ready for the game this week.

Chiefs are not #1. The Vikings would kill them if the refs call a fair game.
