Wednesday, Oct. 16, is National Boss's Day.

National Boss's Day, also known as National Boss Day or Bosses Day, is celebrated every year on Oct. 16, unless it falls on a weekend.

Leaders often carry heavy loads. Not only can they be inspirational and encouraging, but they are the backbone of the work of any corporation. They are often behind the scenes of any successful business, and their work can sometimes go unnoticed.

Boss's Day is a day to celebrate your workplace leaders and show appreciation for their efforts. While their position holds them responsible for a department, business or organization, their list of responsibilities is often lengthy and can affect many people.
