    The Fork Fire burning east of the San Gabriel Reservoir burned about 250 acres Friday with 0% containment.

    A fast-burning wildfire that started Friday afternoon in the Angeles National Forest has grown to 330 acres in size, with no containment.

    The Fork Fire: The Fork Fire is burning east of the San Gabriel Reservoir in the Angeles National Forest. Recreationists were evacuated from the East Fork of the San Gabriel River, according to fire officials. No evacuations have been issued for nearby residents.

    The fire was first reported around 3:23 p.m. Friday.

    State Route 39 is closed in both directions at the San Gabriel Canyon Gateway Center near Ranch Road in Azusa. For updated info, go here .
