A man was fatally shot at the Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet, as reported by ABC7. The incident occurred late Sunday afternoon, and one person has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. When police arrived after receiving reports about a fight shortly after 5:00 P.M., they found a man with a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police initially did not identify the victim, describing him as a man between 25 and 30 years old.

Men’s Basketball’s Hinton Wins Silver at William Jones Cup
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Basketball incoming first-year Robert Hinton earned a silver medal while playing for the Chinese Taipei Blue Team, at the 2024 William Jones Cup in New Taipei, Taiwan. The tournament was held at Xinzhuang Gymnasium from July 13-21. A guard from Los Angeles, California, Hinton averaged a team-high 13.4 points on 54 percent shooting, including 44 percent from three-point range, and 81 percent from the charity stripe. Hinton also added 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals over eight games at the tournament.
