    A look back at the DubSea Fish Sticks historic 2024 baseball season

    The DubSea Fish Sticks celebrated a historic 2024 season, marked by record-breaking achievements and a vibrant community atmosphere at Mel Olson Stadium, affectionately known as “The Fryer.”

    This summer was truly unforgettable for the Fish Sticks, as they posted the best overall record in franchise history: 31–14 overall, and 13-11 conference.

    The team captivated fans, leading to a franchise attendance record and an impressive 13 sellouts throughout the season. Mel Olson Stadium seats around 1,500 spectators.

    “We’re just getting started 🔥,” said team officials, reflecting the excitement surrounding the Fish Sticks’ momentum.

    The season kicked off on June 1, 2024, and ran through Aug. 3, featuring 27 home games that showcased not only competitive baseball but also a unique blend of entertainment and community engagement.

    The Fish Sticks have become a staple in White Center, drawing fans from surrounding areas and creating a family-friendly atmosphere that extends beyond the diamond.

    “The DubSea Fish Sticks are a summer collegiate baseball team based out of West Seattle, whose home stadium is located in White Center, WA,” their website says. “The team was originally founded in 2015 as the Highline Bears and was rebranded in 2022 as the DubSea Fish Sticks. The team hosts college players from around the country for the months of June, July and the first week in August. The team prides itself on being community focused offering fun, affordable family entertainment all summer long. The team plays its games at Mel Olson Stadium which is located inside of King County’s Steve Cox Memorial Park.”
