Araceli and Saul Escobedo can be found serving authentic Mexican cuisine at M’xuma Tacos Mexican Grill, one of several locally owned businesses at Crescent B Commons. Known for its smothered burritos, made-from-scratch tamales, and sizzling fajitas, M’xuma

opened its doors in 2022, drawing inspiration from cherished family recipes and the Escobedos’ experience participating in Food Truck Fridays. Beyond their restaurant, Araceli, a realtor, and Saul also own RCH Enterprises, a Southwest homebuilder and shell contractor.

Both M’xuma and the vibrant lifestyle at Babcock Ranch are integral to the family’s dynamic. Araceli and Saul, parents to five children – a 24-yearold daughter and four sons ranging from 11 to 28 years old – have made their mark on the town. Their daughter-inlaw

Andrea manages M’xuma, while she and their eldest son reside in The Preserve, eagerly anticipate the arrival of the Escobedos’ first grandchild. The Escobedos were among the first 50 homebuyers when they moved to Babcock Ranch in fall 2018, and they purchased a larger home in Lake Babcock in June 2023. Their spacious Arthur Rutenberg Homes residence features five luxurious bedrooms, an office, a mud room perfect for their active lifestyle and a three-car garage with a convenient charging station for the family’s golf cart and their boys’ electric dirt bikes.

When not managing their business ventures, you can encounter the Escobedos around town exploring serene nature trails, lush preserves or spending quality time with their youngest children in Founder’s Square.
