There were a number of celebrities who passed away within the past week, including two notable actresses: Shelley Duvall and Shannen Doherty. Shelley Duvall passed away on Thursday July 11th at her home in Blanco, Texas. The cause of death was complications from diabetes and news of her death was confirmed by her partner Dan Gilroy.

A former aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul had her $3.5 million Long Island home raided by the FBI early Tuesday, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The feds carried out the pre-dawn search at the five-bedroom property where Linda Sun, one of Hochul’s former deputy chiefs of staff, lives in a gated community in Manhasset, the sources said.

The reason for the raid, first reported on by the New York Times, wasn’t immediately clear.



Neither Sun, 40, nor her husband, Chris Hu, 41, has been accused of any wrongdoing. 

No arrests were made during the raid, according to sources.

A recently married NYPD officer was among four people killed Friday when an allegedly drunken driver smashed his minivan into a Long Island nail salon, officials and sources said.

Police Officer Emilia Rennhack, 30, had stopped at the salon to get her nails done for the wedding of another cop later that night, when authorities said Steven Schwally of Dix Hills careened his car into the storefront, trapping people inside. 

Schwally was allegedly driving aggressively and yelling at people from his car before the crash, according to a source.
