Badin First Baptist Church homecoming and revival will be Aug. 4. GriefShare meetings will begin Aug. 13 at 201 Wayne St.
Badin Elementary Open House for K-5th grade will be Aug. 6.
Palestine Community Church homecoming will be Aug. 11 with sister church Bethel Methodist.

Thank you and Appreciation

A thank you from Better Badin, Inc. to the Singing Americans for their July 7 concert.

Badin VFD is grateful to Addysen Culp for representing the VFD in the Stanly County Fire Queen Pageant July 4.

Children and adults are invited to the Summer Reading Adventure program, “Travel to Paris,” today at 10:30 a.m. Next Tuesday’s program features a visit from K-9 Joker from Oakboro Police Department.

Palestine Community Church

Children 3 years old and up are invited to vacation Bible school to learn about Jesus and His parables, “Short Stories, Big Truths.” The first session is July 19, 5:30-8:30 p.m., including supper. The next day’s program, July 20, from 9 a.m. to noon, includes breakfast. The parent walk-through and treats start at 11:45 a.m.
Volunteers are welcome to help with setup on July 17 at 6 p.m. The church is at 36414 Palestine Road.

Summer and fall revival services are scheduled monthly beginning July 21. A covered dish meal at 6 p.m. will precede the 7 p.m. service.

Please come and bring someone else along for fellowship and inspiration.

Sunshine Club

All adults, from Badin and beyond, are invited to check out the Sunshine Club which meets the fourth Tuesday each month at 10:30 a.m. in Badin Baptist Church fellowship hall, 28 Falls Road.
Please bring a covered dish for the lunch that follows. The next meeting date is July 23.

Pastor Christian Herring invites everyone to Bible study and prayer on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. during July and August. The next gathering is July 18 in the fellowship hall, 28 Falls Road.
