Local Printing Facility for Brainerd Dispatch to Close
The Brainerd Dispatch newspaper is closing its printing facility in Brainerd, which will result in the layoffs of 21 people. 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after separate drowning incidents in Clearwater County
CLEARWATER COUNTY - A 70-year-old Ponsford woman has been pronounced dead and a child has been hospitalized following separate incidents this weekend in Clearwater County. According to a release from Clearwater County Sheriff Darin Halverson, at 4:16 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, dispatch received a call reporting that a person was found unresponsive in the water on Long Lost Lake in southern Clearwater County. The caller noted that CPR was in progress.
