ManTech Awarded Spot on $8B FBI IT Services BPA
ManTech has secured a spot on an $8 billion contract from the FBI to enhance digital modernization. Under the second iteration of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Information Technology Supplies and Support Services blanket purchase agreement contract, ManTech plans to implement IT services ranging from AI, cognitive cyber, intelligent systems engineering and mission IT, the Herndon, Virginia-based company announced on Monday.
Live Nation Seeks to Move DOJ Antitrust Case to Washington, D.C.
Live Nation Entertainment Inc. is pushing for the Justice Department’s antitrust lawsuit, which seeks to dismantle its merger with Ticketmaster, to be transferred from New York federal court to Washington, DC. The company argues that the District of Columbia is the appropriate venue to address issues related to a 2010 consent decree that permitted the merger under specific conditions.

No charges after crowbar attack and stabbing puts Alexandria brothers in hospital
No charges have been filed against two Alexandria brothers who were hospitalized with serious injuries after a fight in the West End earlier this month. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a stabbing call for service at an apartment in the 500 block of N. Armistead Street on Sunday, July 7. Police arrived and found the brothers on the floor of the apartment, according to a recently released search warrant affidavit.
