    West Nile virus found in second batch of mosquitoes

    A second batch of mosquitoes trapped in Baker County has tested positive for West Nile virus, a disease the bugs can spread to people through bites.

    The mosquitoes were trapped recently about 2 miles south of North Powder, said Matt Hutchinson, manager of the Baker Valley Vector Control District.
