    Baker City Police invites people to enroll surveillance cameras in database to aid in investigations

    Baker City Police Chief Ty Duby hopes an item that’s often given as a Christmas or birthday gift will also serve as a crime-detecting tool.

    Duby is inviting residents and business owners who have doorbell or other surveillance cameras on their properties to register with the police department if they’re willing to allow officers to review images during investigations.
