    Baker County search and rescue members help mountain bikers on trail in Elkhorns after dark

    Members of Baker County’s Search and Rescue team helped two mountain bikers who were on a trail in the Elkhorn Mountains after dark on Sunday, Sept. 22, when the batteries in their cellphones, which they were using as flashlights, died.

    Both riders, David Silbernagel and Christina Floyd, were in good condition, according to a press release from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office.
