    Baker County commissioners to ask voters for more flexibility in scheduling meetings to discuss Greater Idaho movement

    Baker County voters will have a chance in the Nov. 5 election to give county commissioners more flexibility in scheduling public discussions about the Greater Idaho movement.

    In the May 2021 election, county voters, with 56.5% in favor, approved a measure that requires commissioners to meet at least three times per year, on the second Wednesday of March, July and November, to discuss the proposal to shift Baker County and most of Oregon east of the Cascades to Idaho.
