    4 arrested after probation officers allegedly find guns, meth

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Probation Department conducted a home call on Wednesday that resulted in multiple arrests and confiscated firearms.

    On July 10, the Kern County Probation Department arrested four people in the 2700 block of Dracena Street in Bakersfield. Officers searched a home and allegedly discovered an AR-15 style assault rifle, ammunition, methamphetamine, as well as a digital scale. Juan Porras, Trudi Pena, Alfred Herrera, and Martha Noriega were arrested for alleged participation in a criminal street gang, possession of an assault weapon, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm and other drug related offenses, officers said.

    Porras, Pena and Herrera were also arrested for possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of ammunition by a felon.
