BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — High pressure will start building back in Kern Wednesday. Temps in the Valley will be near 100.

We are also going to see a shift in our winds. Today we will see lighter winds in the Mountain areas, but smoke will increase into the Kern River Valley by the afternoon with our southerly flow.

We will see some monsoonal moisture push into California by Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We could see some thunderstorms in our Mountain regions.
