Drug bust in Lenoir nets three arrests, police say
LENOIR, N.C. (WBTV) - Three people were arrested Tuesday after a drug bust in Lenoir, according to the Lenoir Police Department. According to police, investigators with the Lenoir Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office ICE Unit, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation have been investigating the sale and distribution of meth within the city limits of Lenoir and Caldwell County.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A major doctor shortage in the Carolinas is impacting patient health. Many are waiting several months or a year to get an appointment. According to data from the Association of American Medical Colleges, the doctor shortage is about twice as bad in the Carolinas and Georiga compared to some northern states. The Carolinas has around 200 active physicians per 100,000 residents. Massachusetts, Maryland, and New York have about 400 active physicians per 100,000 residents. Patients say this is taking a serious toll on their health.
