Tu Madre Reopens At New Melrose Location
Tu Madre Mexican eatery has reopened at 660 N. Larchmont, the former site of Art Works Studio, located at the southeast corner of Larchmont and Melrose. The new space features a large dine-in area with lots of windows and a large U-shaped bar. There is also outdoor seating. Guests can dig into a wide range of beverages, Tu Madre is fully licensed to serve alcohol. The previous location at 203 N. Larchmont was limited to take-out service only and closed in December 2022.

Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man near the Metro Red Line station in North Hollywood on Wednesday. The violence was reported around 1:40 p.m. near the intersection of Lankershim and Chandler Boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
