Knox County Man Dies in Apparent ATV Accident
Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith says deputies responded to a 911 call about a man who died trapped under an ATV. Knox County Deputy Coroner Mike Trent identified the man as 59-year-old James Vaughn, of Swan Pond. He was found in the Barbourville area on the Rufus Mills Ridge off KY-11 South. Family members said they spoke to him at approximately 2 p.m. on Friday. After not hearing from him the rest of the day, family began their search for him on Friday night. The investigation is ongoing.
