The event is hosted by Skidmore College at the Ballston Spa Country Club.</p><p>RPI is one of three ranked teams in the field for the event, as Babson (No. 24) and Hamilton (No. 42) are the other two.</p><p>The Engineers as a team finished the day in a three-way tie with Middlebury College and Trinity College at 288 (+4), trailing Babson in second by two strokes and the leaders Husson University (282/-2) by four shots. Husson was the only team in the field to finish under par for the day.</p><p>Individually, Fraser was RPI's top performer followed by a T-13 effort from graduate student Joey Harrigan, who shot a 71 (E). Matt Buckley added a 73 (+2), while Jacob Lindsay shot a 75 (+4) and Jack Godin rounded out the lineup with a 79 (+8).</p><p>The Engineers return to action tomorrow, Sunday, April 9 for the second round of the tournament at the Par 71 Ballston Spa Country Club.</p></div></body>
