I took a little day trip out to Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg to take advantage of the rather mild July weather. If you haven't been in a while — or ever — you may want to head out to Washington County to explore the history and the incredible scenery. Much of the area and its buildings remain as they did during the Civil War.
