The Baltimore Ravens added Derrick Henry, one of the best running backs in the NFL, to their offense this March. The former Tennessee Titans star has shown exceptional abilities over his eight-year NFL career and should continue his strong play in Baltimore’s offense.

When asked about what has surprised him so far about Henry, Ravens running back coach Willie Taggart shared that Henry has come into Baltimore hungry and ready to learn. Taggart clarified by saying he isn’t using his accomplishments to be complacent but instead embraces the challenge to continue improving.

“I think it’s that, more than anything – for a guy that’s played this long and at the level that [Derrick Henry]’s played at to come in here and still [be] hungry, still wanting to learn. He is not coming in here feeling like, ‘Hey, I’ve done this; I’ve done that.’ You don’t see any of that. It seems like he’s been a Raven all his life. He can fit in the room seamlessly. He’s been awesome. You kind of assume [that] a guy that’s had that much success will come in and have his way of doing things, and Derrick wants to understand how we’re doing it, and he wants to do everything he can to help this football team win a championship.”

Henry has yet to win a Super Bowl championship during his NFL career, but signing with the Ravens gives him as good a chance as any. With his skills paired up with quarterback Lamar Jackson, the possibilities are endless for what the duo can do, especially if both can play to their full potential.
