The Baltimore Ravens hired head coach John Harbaugh in 2008 and haven’t looked back since. Harbaugh has won a Super Bowl with the team, guided them to many playoff wins, and always seems to have them ready to go during the regular season.

Harbaugh comes from an incredible coaching family, with his father, Jack, and brother, Jim, among them. When asked about facing off against Jim and his new team, the Los Angeles Chargers, this season, Harbaugh said that he’s looking forward to it and that it will be kind of cool.

“I’m looking forward to it, I guess. How excited was I to face off against him in a driveway when we were playing one-on-one hockey or one-on-one basketball or wrestling or when my dad said, ‘Put the gloves on and go into the basement if you want to fight each other all the time?’ So, I guess it was kind of exciting. Then again, it wasn’t that great, especially when he got bigger. That got to be more and more challenging, so I think that day will come when it comes, so we’re not really thinking about it too much, but when it comes, it will be kind of cool. It will be historic.”

The Harbaugh brothers had faced off multiple times, most notably in Super Bowl XLVII when John and the Ravens got the better of Jim and the San Fransisco 49ers. Baltimore and Los Angeles will face off on Monday Night Football in Week 12, with many expected to tune into the showdown between the two siblings.
