    Social Security Administration: Retirement information will be held virtually 1 to 2p.m. Tuesday, July 9. The Social Security Administration provides protection for workers and their families. Registration required.

    Behind The Story: Author Kate DiCamillo will be held virtually 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, June 3. DiCamillo, who is the author of “Because of Winn-Dixie” and “The Tale of Despereaux,” will discuss the creation of her lovable pig character, “Mercy Watson!” Registration required.

    Dancing by the Numbers: Summer professional performance will be held 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Lexington Park branch; and 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the Leonardtown Friday, July 12. Wolf Trap teaching artist Laura Schandelmeier will discuss the world of dance and math. Learn the elements of dance, how to move, and explore patterns and numbers in new ways. Bring a blanket. Space limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

    The 1936 Olympics and How they Changed History will be held virtually 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 15. United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Research Historian Paul Rose will discuss the Olympics followed by a question-and-answer period. Registration required.
