Ongoing: The Amazing Acro-Cats
Animal lovers don’t miss your chance to see the stars of the Netflix series “Cat People” in the fur when The Amazing Acro-Cats perform at the Theater at Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Avenue. This band of house cats, strays and orphans ride skateboards, jump through hoops, ring bells and more. The tour helps support Rock Cats Rescue, a nonprofit organization which rescues, cares for, adopts and finds homes for felines. This weekend’s shows are Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Ticket prices start at $30.

Sunday: SharkFest 2024
Summer means it’s time to get back in the water, but first take a dip in shark territory at SharkFest 2024 at the Natural History Society of Maryland, 6908 Belair Road. Visitors can learn about the behavior and anatomy of these predators of the deep, including exploring fossil and shark teeth collections, listening to Emmy-Award-winning underwater cinematographer Nick Caloyianis and playing games and making crafts. All ages welcome. Admission is free but registration is required .
