Tatte to Extend its DMV Empire

Baltimore foodies will soon be able to enjoy the unique flavors and distinctive treats of one of the DMV’s most popular eateries. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is opening its first Annapolis location later this year, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

The Boston-based concept will be moving into the space vacated by Brio Tuscan Grill in the Annapolis Town Center. The storefront, located at 305 Sail Pl, will allow Tatte 8,000 square feet to serve guests its innovative menu. While a precise opening date is not available, the cafe is hoping to open its doors this year.

Tatte’s CEO Shawn Utke believes the new location will provide the eatery with plenty of opportunity to earn new and loyal customers. He states: ““Annapolis Town Center is an ideal location for Tatte, allowing us to connect with a vibrant community. We look forward to creating a home away from home for our new neighbors – for a coffee date, meeting, or a meal with friends and family.”

Tatte filters its cuisine through a European and Eastern Mediterranean lens. Annapolis residents can look forward to enjoying seasonal menus that include dishes ranging from delicious breakfast sandwiches to an impressive assortment of shakshuka.
