Kevin Spacey’s luxurious waterfront home in Baltimore was snapped up for $3.24 million in a public auction held Thursday on the steps of a Baltimore Circuit Court.
The massive 9,000-square-foot Harborview estate traded hands in under 10 minutes to a Maryland developer, Sam Sheibani from Compass told CBS News .
“The sale of Mr. Spacey’s home marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for this iconic home,” Sheibani told The Post.

“This transaction is not just a real estate milestone but also a reflection of the deep history and unique architecture of Baltimore,” Sheibani said. “We are very excited to see how the potential new owners will make their mark on this unique piece of Baltimore history.”
The winning bidder had to drop a $100,000 deposit at the auction.
Previously marketed as a “magnificent mansion on the water,” the home includes five floors, six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, a sauna, a movie theater and a rooftop terrace.

The sale follows a period in which a debt collection firm attempted to foreclose on the property for more than two years, leading to two previously canceled auctions. The Baltimore City Circuit Court still needs to give the final nod before the sale is officially closed.
Spacey’s financial woes are no secret. In an interview with Piers Morgan last month, the embattled actor confessed his inability to cover mounting legal expenses.
“I can’t pay the bills that I owe,” Spacey told Morgan. “I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been able to pay. It’s considerable.” He added, “I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now.”
Spacey’s representatives did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The property was bought by an LLC linked to Spacey in 2017 for $5.65 million. Spacey’s accolades include two Academy Awards, a Tony Award, a Golden Globe, and four Screen Actors Guild Awards. His filmography features standout performances in “American Beauty,” “The Usual Suspects,” “A Time To Kill,” “Pay It Forward,” “21,” “Horrible Bosses,” and the Netflix hit “House of Cards.”
Legally, Spacey has had a tumultuous few years. He was recently found not liable in a New York case in which he was accused of groping a teenager in the 1980s — and was acquitted of sexual misconduct charges in London.
