Oceanside girls defeat Spruce Mountain to capture B South title

The top-seeded Oceanside girls from the Rockland area defeated No. 3 Spruce Mountain of Jay 44-33 in the Class B South regional championship game at the Portland Expo Friday.

The victory propels Oceanside into the state championship game at 6:05 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor against the winner of the Ellsworth vs. Old Town B North regional final.
