    Narraguagus Jr/Sr High School honor parts

    HARRINGTON — Principal Todd Emerson is pleased to announce the honor parts for the class of 2024 at Narraguagus Jr/Sr High School in Harrington. Valedictorian is Chloe Look, daughter of Jared Look of Addison and Morgan Look of Cherryfield. Salutatorian is Autumn Peterson, daughter of Charles & Bonnie Peterson of Cherryfield.

    Look is vice president of the National Honor Society and an EdGE Journey student. While at Narraguagus, she has also been involved in student government and has been a Maine Youth Action Network Youth Ambassador team member and a delegate at Dirgo State. She received the Golden Apple Award and the Maine Principals Association Principal’s Award, as well as numerous individual class awards. In her spare time this fall, she gave our weight room a much-needed facelift by painting a beautiful mural. Chloe plans to study graphic/visual design in the fall at Husson University.

    Valedictorian Chloe Look

    Peterson is president of the National Honor Society, secretary of the Class of 2024, a participant in the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute, an EdGE Journey student and formerly served as a student government member. She received the Golden Apple Award as well as numerous individual class awards. During her years at Narraguagus, Autumn has been an integral part of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams, earning numerous awards. In softball she was chosen for PVC 3rd Team as a junior. Basketball achievements include being senior captain, DAC All-Star and PVC 2nd Team for the past three years and PVC All-Defensive Team & PVC All-Academic Award this year. In volleyball, Autumn was senior captain, DAC All-Star for the past three years and DAC Player of the Year this year. PVC awards include 2nd Team as a sophomore and junior, 1st Team, Academic All-Star & Player of the Year as a senior. Other volleyball recognitions earned this year are AVCA Best & Brightest 3rd Team, Maine Class C 1st Team, Maine Class C Player of the Year, and All Academic 1st Team Class C. Autumn plans to study forensic science/criminal justice in the fall at Central Maine Community College.
